On the Road Home Thursday

We will simply say that we will be on the road to home tomorrow. Airports in Moscow have been snarled since Sunday's ice storm, and still have delays and cancellations, as snow storms continue (in Moscow in December... who would have thought it possible?! Ha ha.) We are praying for a clear path home tomorrow. Please also pray for a quiet, peaceful heart for Anya - this is going to be controlled chaos, as an international airport always is - we have a 3 1/2 hour layover in Copenhagen, and are hoping for her to eat and get a short nap in. Then on to the 8 1/2 hour flight to Chicago... where she will become a US citizen!! If all goes well, we should be landing in Springfield at 10:30 tomorrow night. Then straight to home and bed. Katie and the parents have a Christmas/Anniversary/Birthday bash planned for Friday. The best part will be having our family around us. Prayers for safe travel, calm hearts, senses of humor, and to walk with joy and grace throughout this transition home. God bless every single solitary one of you.
