Last visit... for now

Beautiful last visit with our little one. We learned today that we have been spelling her name wrong - it's Nadezhda. So much cooler, huh?! Her legal name will be Anya Nadezhda Jackson. We got to play outside a little bit, but she was wrapped in so many layers, she could hardly move!! She was getting sleepy toward the end of our visit, and was just getting snuggly warm and cuddly - I really needed a rocking chair at that point. Can't wait to rock her to sleep in our glider at home. We signed the legal papers that stated, yes, we want her as part of our family. At the bottom of the form it says "I promise to love, protect, and do the best I can for this child". How awesome is that?

We head home tomorrow morning. It will be a long flight, but hopefully a short wait until we come back to get her. Lord, please speed the wheels of bureaucracy!! Prayers for safe travels, our little one's health, and all of our hearts until we're back together. Thank you for being on this journey with us - it means the world to us. Love to all!
